Ligue 1 2021-22: PSG champions, Bordeaux at risk – Stats Perform AI predicts

Can Paris Saint-Germain get back on track? Are champions Lille in contention again? Could any top French sides face the drop?

Stats Perform aims to answer all of these questions and more as the new Ligue 1 season gets under way.

The Stats Perform League Prediction Model, created by Stats Perform AI using Opta data, has analysed the division ahead of the new season to assign percentages to potential outcomes for each club.

The model estimates the probability of each match outcome (win, draw or loss) based on teams attacking and defensive qualities, which considers four years worth of results, with weighting based on recency and the quality of opposition. The season is then simulated 10,000 times to calculate the likelihood of each outcome.

Euro 2020 final smashes viewership records in the United States

Italy and England combined to produce a nail-biting finale to Euro 2020, which was enjoyed by an average audience of 6.4 million viewers in the United States.

Those staggering viewership numbers meant the 2020 showpiece became the most-watched European Championship final in the USA, surpassing the previous record from the Euro 2012 final (4.5 million for Spain v Italy). Viewership increased 43 per cent on the 2016 final.

Even the first two games of the NBA Finals failed to produce better viewing figures, with the USA appearing to have savoured a memorable European Championship.

In fact, as Gianluigi Donnarumma s shoot-out heroics clinched Italy s first European Championship title since 1968, the audience in the United States peaked at 8.1 million, according…

Buffon reflects on joyous 2012

Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon is elated with how his year went, and is aiming for even more success in 2013.

The goalkeeper was a crucial member of the Serie A-winning Juve team under Antonio Conte and helped Italy reach the final of Euro 2012, where they were beaten comfortably by Spain.

The 34-year-old wrote on his Facebook page: 2012 gave me a lot of joy.

Juventus bounced back to win the Scudetto, I had a beautiful European adventure with the national team, I lifted my first trophy as captain and then (Juve had) a really superb beginning to this season.

This group aims higher in every competition. In 2013 I hope to convey all my determination and confidence so that the team keep being able to fight on every front.

Raiders vs Cowboys Preseason Picks and Predictions: Expect Points in Big D

It’s the final week of NFL preseason, which means very few starters will be suiting up, and it could be the last chance to get a look at some of these Day 3 and undrafted rookies before they’re potentially thrown into the fire due to injury during the season.

One of those such rookies is Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Aidan O’Connell, who has been arguably the preseason MVP through two games and is looking to continue his hot play against the Dallas Cowboys backups at AT&T Stadium.

Find out where my best bets lie in our NFL preseason picks and predictions for Raiders vs. Cowboys on Saturday, August 26.

Broncos vs Chiefs Sunday Night Football Picks and Predictions: Bridgewater & Co. Can Hang Around in AFC West Clash

The battle for AFC West supremacy continues in prime time as the Denver Broncos travel to Arrowhead Stadium to face the red-hot Kansas City Chiefs.

The Chiefs are coming off a bye week – big news if you’re a believer in Andy Reid – and have rattled off four consecutive wins after an inconsistent start to the season. Denver is also playing its best football at the right time, with wins in three of its last four games, including an impressive victory over the L.A. Chargers last Sunday.

Check out our free NFL picks and predictions for Broncos at Chiefs on December 5.

Cowboys vs Eagles SNF Prop Bets: CeeDee Leads the Charge for Sunday's Player Props

The Philadelphia Eagles put their perfect record on the line vs. the Dallas Cowboys and Cooper Rush’s flawless record as a starter. With the Cowboys coming in as 6.5-point underdogs, Rush might be passing more than he has this season which could mean big things for CeeDee Lamb and Tony Pollard.

Seahawks vs Giants MNF Prop Bets: Breida Becomes Best Back

It’s been 11 days since we’ve seen the New York Giants. They were steamrolled by the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday Night Football nearly two weeks ago, and have enjoyed a nice miniature bye as they get ready for another primetime showdown in NFL Week 4 odds.

Can the Giants pick up the pieces tonight and level their record at 2-2, or will it be the Seattle Seahawks to continue impressing with a third win in four games? Let’s get into some ways to bet the MNF odds from a player prop perspective.

Don’t forget to look at our full-game Seahawks vs. Giants predictions, our spotlight on Daniel Jones odds, and more NFL picks.

Tua Tagovailoa Odds and MNF Props: Tua Won't Torch Titans Stoppers

One of our two MNF odds matchups for Week 14 takes place at Hard Rock Stadium in South Beach, as the Miami Dolphins are monster 13.5-point favorites over the reeling Tennessee Titans in the NFL odds.

If you’re looking for full-game NFL picks, we’ve got you set with a Titans vs. Dolphins preview.

For our purposes, however, I’m sharing my free Tua Tagovailoa odds and NFL player prop picks and predictions. Tua has the keys to the most potent offense in football — but is it a lock he lights the Titans on fire on Monday, December 11?

Examining NFL Key Numbers for the 2024/25 Season

NOTE: Since the NFL added a 17th regular season game for the 2021 season, we’ve adjusted all metric totals involving the 2021 season down to a 16-game total.

For years, the NFL key numbers of three and seven have gotten sacred treatment from bettors. And while they remain essential spread-betting numbers, they aren’t as important as they used to be.

A pitiful state of affairs that often leads to painful introspection

FIFTEEN MINUTES OF INFAMY

Earlier on Tuesday afternoon, The Fiver finally stopped emitting the peals of loud, rich, booming, theatrical, industrial-strength laughter that began when Juventus got themselves knocked out of Big Cup during the week in which the brains of their operation, Andrea Agnelli, revealed plans to reconfigure the very same tournament in ways designed to benefit certain badly-run behemoths. The continuous seven-day guffaw marathon came at a heavy cost to The Fiver, who dislodged two items in its special area, and is now sitting in a tepid puddle. But, on balance, it was still worth it. One hundred million euros for that, yet further away from the dream than ever. What a business!
